MTN Ghana Foundation Commissions Library Project at Denkyira Buabinso

MTN Ghana Foundation has handed over a beautiful well-furnished library to the Chiefs and people of Buabinso in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central Region.

The Project which was funded by MTN foundation was petitioned by the leadership of Denkyira Development Association and the Chiefs of Buabinso

Mr. Festus Awuah Kwafie, who is the Member of Parliament for the area also contributed in the whole process.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Upper Denkyira East Mr. Ebenezer Appiah Forson expressed his gratitude to MTN for their kind gesture and also appealed for more of such projects in the future for the Municipality.

Mr. Appiah Forson assured all the people gathered that, the Municipal Assembly will play an oversight responsibility on the facility, so that it can be maintained well.

"My greatest joy is schools in and around Buabinso can have access to it, “he said.

“The Ghana Library Board will take over the management of the place and we will liaise with them to ensure proper maintenance. Once again, we thank MTN for this facility”.

The program was graced by Daasebre Oduro Akenten II Abuakwa Hene, Odiamono Ntri Twum Berima, Denkyira Krontihene and their delegation.
