BEREKUM: Residents want MCE to prioritize road projects

Residents of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region have suggested to the Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Opoku Boakye-Yiadom to make road projects a priority when taking developmental needs of the people into consideration.

Residents of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region have suggested to the Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Opoku Boakye-Yiadom to make road projects a priority when taking developmental needs of the people into consideration.

The residents are of the view that most road networks within the area are in sorrowful states and if the MCE tackle such problems would be a major source of relief to them.

Information about improving the road networks within the area was revealed in a recent opinion poll conducted by a Berekum based website named www.berekumcity.com, when they sought to find out issues residents want the MCE, Mr. Opoku Boakye-Yiadom to tackle within the shortest possible time.

The poll was published on the site from October 2013 to January this year and received an overwhelming patronage recording over 11,000 votes within the period.
