DCE and Atwimahene woo investors to Atwima Kwanwoma District

District Chief Executive, for Atwima Kwanwoma District, Nana Okyere-Tawiah Antwi has charged German partners to take advantage of opportunities in the district as well as the country as a whole.

He said this when a twenty-member delegation led by the Major from Markt Murnau in Germany, Mr. Rolf Beuting paid a courtesy called on him at Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly.

He added that the district has enormous investment potentials that the Germans can take advantage of coupled with a peaceful environment to do business.

Nana Antwi highlighted some of the areas they could invest in including estates development, tourism and recreational sector around Dida Lake, education, craft and mining as well as agro-processing particularly ginger and organic cocoa.

Nana Agyei Brempong II, Atwimahene expressed satisfaction for such a partnership between Murnua and Atwima after his visit to the Markt Murnua in Germany. He added that this partnership would provide an opportunity to develop international cultural and promote visitors' movement between the two cities.

Mr. Rolf Beuting, Major of Markt Murnua also expressed satisfaction for their visitation to Ghana specially Atwima Kwanwoma and the partnership that is developing.

He disclosed that the partnership would develop beneficial cooperation that may lead to exchange of ideas and reciprocal relations within the context of environmental protection, education and fair trade.
