Mr Kwakye stated this when delivering a statement on the 2017 - 2018 performance of various Senior High Schools of the district at the first ordinary meeting of the fourth session of the seventh assembly held at Kwahu Mpraeso, the district capital.

He said:"to find a teacher to some areas in the district is very difficult but after all effort taken to get one, some parents and citizens threatened their lives with "juju" and some are physically attacked them."

He thus warned parents and citizens in the area to desist from putting fear in teachers or risk losing all qualified teachers in the district.

“If a teacher is transferred out of persistent fear by parents then it means that particular school will be without teachers”, he added.

Mr. Edwin Ofosu Kwakye further appealed to the house to educate their citizens and parents to use the appropriate procedure to address their displeasure.
