“Time wasted could not be regained; hence citizens should be time conscious and also make judicious use of it” Mr Donkor noted.

The DCE, who said this when addressing the Chiefs and people of the ‘Kodzobi’ community, as part of his tour to some communities of the district thus pledged to ensure that, events organized by Assembly are always started on time.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo led NPP administration has over the period demonstrated its firm stance against lateness among public sectors workers and late start to public events, adding that the government’s position was a clear indication of its eagerness to instill discipline and foster development in the district and the country as a whole.

Meanwhile, Mr Donkor, who initially revealed the assembly’s readiness to complete all projects initiated by the erstwhile NDC administration also disclosed that, the assembly has recently signed a new contract for work to commence on a new potable water expansion project in the area.

He was optimistic that the project when completed would go a long way to help salvage the district’s perennial water shortage.
