Agenda 111 hospital to be completed in December
The agenda 111 Hospital being constructed at Abomosu in the Aitwa West District of the Eastern Region is expected to be completed by December this year

The Presidential Advisor on Health Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare disclosed this to the media when he paid a working visit to the district and inspected progress of work on two health facilities that were currently ongoing in the district - that is the Kwabeng Hospital and Abomosu Agenda 111 Hospital.

He expressed satisfaction with the progress of work on the facilities and indicated tentatively that the two projects would be completed by the end of this year.

The facilities which are at various stages of completion are mainly to deepen the delivery of quality health care at the district level and boost access to health care services for all citizens in the district.

The Agenda 111 project when completed would have four state – of – the – art surgical theatres for maternity, obstetrics and gynaecology, a full complement of male, and female pediatric and isolation wards, accommodation for doctors, nurses and other health personnel among others.

Dr. Nsiah Asare was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah, Minister for Roads and Highways and MP for the area, the DCE, Mr. Seth Asante and some officials from the presidency and Ministry of Finance.
