Wa West Assembly donates items to prevent COVID-19 spread

The Wa West District Assembly led by the District Chief Executive, Mr. Edward Sabo Laabiir, and District health Director yesterday distributed some items to about five communities under the district to prevent Coronavirus from spreading.

The items which were distributed were, Nose Masks, Veronica backet, Tissue, hands sanitizers.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Edward Sabo said, even though the Assembly has recorded zero of its cases, he will do everything possible to prevent the people from getting the deadly virus.

Mr. Sabo advised the people in the communities to frequently wash their hands, use sanitizers, and observes personal hygiene.

He emphasized that social distancing as one of the key factors in prevent the virus.

Mr. Sabo took the opportunity and thank the frontline workers for their commitment exhibited for the District and the Region at large.
