HLGS commends people of Offinso North

The Head of Local Government Service Dr. Nana Ato Arthur has commended Nananom, the Member of Parliament and the District Chief Executive for Offinso North in the Ashanti region for making land available for the construction of the Local Government Service Conference and Human Resource Development Centre which is ongoing at Akumadan.

The Head of Service who led a team from his Office to inspect works at the construction site disclosed that the first phase of the project which is expected to be completed by July, 2021 and funded by the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) includes executive guest blocks, conference halls, administration block, capacity auditorium, bedroom hostel blocks and a kitchen.

The DCE Mr. David Kwasi Asare was grateful to the President Nana Akuffo Addo for bringing such enormous Project to the District.

He further indicated that the project is of great interest to the District and the country as a whole as it has the potential to contribute to the local economic development of the area through creation of jobs and other opportunities for the people of Offinso North.
