TWIFO A M: Assembly holds joint stakeholder mid-year review meeting

Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Assembly has held a joint stakeholder meeting at the district assembly to assess the progress of development projects undertaken in the district as per the 2020 annual action plan for the district.

Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, the District Chief Executive, in his opening remarks applauded all the gathering for making time to attend the meeting.

He stated that the main purpose of the gathering was to assess development as planned by the district. He also urged the gathering to ensure maximum attention so as to elect their contribution.

The District Planning Officer (DPO), Mr. Alfred Dadson led the stakeholders through a presentation to review the achievements of the district as planned for the district.

The summary of his report reviewed that, 29% of the targeted projects were achieved whiles 43% of the projects were ongoing and 6% of the projects were also not due whiles 22% of the projects were yet to be.

He added that the imbalances were the result of the current pandemic which had practically put many things on hold.

The planning officer added that the district still has the zeal to work hard to complete these projects as soon as normalcy returned.

Stakeholders were given the opportunity to submit contributions and questions.
