Bunkpurugu DCE congratulates BECE candidates

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bunkpurugu/Nakpanduri District, Mr Louknaan Joseph has congratulated candidates who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for successfully completing their exams.

“I wish to express my profound gratitude and to also congratulate all graduates of the just ended Basic education certificate examination (BECE) for pulling through successfully”, the DCE stated.

The DCE, who congratulated the candidates when speaking in an interview with media, also commended the government for its decisiveness, firmness and purposeful action in ensuring the smooth take off and completion of the examination amidst the convid-19 pandemic.

He further lauded the District Education Directorate for working tirelessly to promote education in the district.

He noted that the Assembly is putting numerous interventions to enhance teaching and learning at the basic education level.

According to him, the free Senior High school initiative is one significant policy of the current government that aims at ensuring education and skills and also creating equal opportunities to the youth to help drive Ghana’s development, and in the process create jobs.
