NDC 2020 is NCNC - Chairman tells party supporters

Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has told party supports at Dome/Kwabenya that election 2020 is all about “no contributions no chop” (NCNC).

According to the National Chairman, when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) worn in 2008 and were appointing District Chief Executives (DCEs), when one is coming for vetting he or she comes with a certificate indicating they were polling agents.

And the Holy Bible even says, the one who does not work would not eat, I thank the constituency chairman of the party in Dome/Kwabenya for instituting this award system and I hope the other chairmen from Ashiaman and other constituency here would learn from it, he stated.

“Let us recognize hard work, commitment and dedication that is the only way that we can encourage people to work hard for the party. I always use myself as an example that I am a product of the grass root”.

About twenty-six years ago, when the party was being formed I was a branch organizer in 1992, I was carrying chairs to party meetings, I never thought I would become a national chairman, Ofosu Ampofo disclosed.

“Our party is a party of opportunities, not like other parties when you are going into it they would ask, if you belong to Busia or Danquah family, NDC is a congress once you are hard working you would be recognise and rewarded accordingly”.

He supported the constituency with a thousand Ghana cedis, and urged each and every member of the party to support with the little they can and gave an example of a branch in the US where members were giving a dollar a day to support the party.
