Sekyedumasehene honoured MCE with the title Nana Oseade3y) I

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura-sekyedumase, Mohammed Salisu Bamba has advised his fellow politicians to honour their promises to their constituents in order to help development.

Nana Antwi Boasiako I honored Mr. Mohammed Salisu Bamba with the title because since assuming office in less than 18 months, he has kept to all his promises to Sekyedumase Township and now they are back to their old Seko City.

According to Nana Antwi Boasiako I, work on the following projects;

• installation of street lights,

• ultra-modern ICT center,

• construction community center,

• ultra-modern water closet toilet,

• distributions of 60,000 cashew seedlings to farmers, as well as

• construction of theatre and maternity wards at Seko Hospital attest to the good works of the MCE to the Sekyedumase community.

The Brafie festival is celebrated by the people of Sekyedumase in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality of Ashanti Region, and it is an occasion used to promote development of the area, as such this year’s celebration is geared towards raising funds for community initiated projects in the town.

The MCE was grateful for the recognition of his contribution towards the development of the area, and promised to continue to avail himself to the people for accelerated development.

Citizens from Sekyedumase will come home for the great festival to contribute to the development in the community. Nana Antwi Boasiako I Sekyedumasehene in his statement thanked the people of Seko City for their support for previous years. Nana Antwi Boasiako I honoured Hon. Mohammed Salisu Bamba MCE for the Municipality with the title Nana Oseade3y) No.1 because since he assumed office for less than 18 months he has kept to all his promised to Sekyedumase township and now they are back to their old Seko City.

The occasion was graced by Hon. Simon Osei Mensah Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Yaw Buabeng Asamoah M.P Adenta who hails from Sekyedumase, Hon Joseph Owusu DCE Sekyere Afram Plains Drobonso, NPP Constituency Executives, Nananom, Zongo Community and many others.
