PWDs in Asante-Akim South Municipality receive support

The Asante-Akim South Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Alexander Frimpong, has distributed items, call credits, and cash to people living with disabilities (PWDs) in the Municipality. This is to economically empower them to live comfortable lives.

The beneficiaries of the recent items come from Saabo, Asuboa, Bompata, Komeso, Juaso, Obogu, and Dwendwenase.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the MCE reiterated that, the NPP government's commitment to make people living with disabilities live an independent and meaningful lives.

He also stated that his outfit is implementing his government's policy to the last word.

This is not the first time that the MCE has done such a gesture. To him, the part of the District Assemblies Common Fund committed to the welfare of people living with disabilities shall be fully utilized to touch and enhance the lives of such people.

They were grateful for the gesture and thank the MCE, the Municipal Assembly, and the President and his government. They promised to make good use of the items received.
