GOMOA C: New CHPS compound for Gomoa Asebu

The Gomoa Central Assembly has constructed a Community Health Planning Services compound at Gomoa Asebu to provide the people with access to quality health care.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Benjamin Kojo Otoo said the project which was funded by GOG will help bring quality healthcare to their doorsteps.

He expressed the assembly’s desire to expand quality healthcare to all communities in the district, adding that the situation of travelling to other communities in quest of quality health care will soon be a thing of the past.

He announced that the new facility will be equipped with the needed equipment to enable health workers function efficiently to help take care of the health needs of the people.

Mr. Benjamin said government alone cannot shoulder the responsibilities of the people, adding that private citizens need to be involved in order to reduce the suffering of the people.

He therefore pleaded with the community to take good care of the project and also advised the nurses to take their work seriously.
