The projects under the auspices of the Ministry for Special Development Initiatives include maternity ward, two teachers’ bungalows, and mechanized borehole.

The two leaders commenced their work at Seketia in the Kwatwoma Stool land with a sod-cutting for the construction of a maternity block with other facilities.

The team proceeded to Bonakire where a teachers’ bungalow for the D/A School will be constructed. A similar sod-cutting was also held at Adadiem for Adadiem R/C School.

At Adadiem, the DCE and MP donated a cash of GHS 2,500 to support their annual festival which is mainly aimed at "Giving thanks to their ancestors and the living for protection".

The team from there proceeded to Jamera for a sod-cutting of a mechanized borehole. This, however, is not part of the Ministry's project, rather it is funded by a foreign donor. Three of the projects at Seketia, Bonakire and Adadiem are awarded to Mr. Owusu Rexford of Resindolf Construction Company and is expected to be completed within Three (3) months.
