According to the Directorate, not only is the community hospital the largest in the municipality currently and taking care of about a third of OPD attendance, but also one facility that attends to people from nearby municipality including some from the Eastern Region because they give them good services.

Dr. Selorm Botwe, Ga East Director of Health Services, speaking at the 10th Anniversary launch of the hospital disclosed that the Community Hospital provides quality care to its clients, and is one of the few health facilities in the municipality that accept NHIS, thus offering services to people regardless of their ability to pay.

“For us in the Directorate, we are really happy working with them because they collaborate very well with all our activities”; unlike “some of the private facilities that do not work with the directorate because they assume we are there to mark their work or look into their activities, but the community hospital remain open to us”, Dr. Botwe stated.

She encouraged the hospital to continue giving back to society as part of their corporate social responsibility as the Community Hospital remains the only health facility that organizes Paediatric Fares that allows free health screening for children. Though this practice, Dr, Botwe noted, they are able to detect a lot of health conditions in the community for the necessary attention from the directorate.
