He described it as a laudable initiative which will create employment and also enhance development in sports especially the talented youth within the district and its catchment areas.

He made this known in Nyinahin as Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah (Minister of Youth & Sports who doubles as MP for Atwima Mponua Constituency) and his team visited the Ashanti Region’s multi-purpose sports centre to assess the progress of work done.

He was grateful to the Minister for bringing the project to Nyinahin which is strategically positioned for the benefit of other regions like; Brong Ahafo and Western regions.

On his part, the Sports Minister, was very much appeased with the progress of work and charged on the contractors (Altimate Kristal Vision Limited) to work and finish between their schedule. He hinted many of such projects will hit every nook and cranny within Ghana; more especially Nyinahin which has Bauxite worth over $450 billion.

He assured the team made up of Chiefs, Politicians, Public and Civil servants, the media, opinion leaders that, over 69km Sini-Hydro road project will take off in mid-February 2019 within the District. “Just last week, Sino Hydro Engineers were here to inspect all these roads”, he stated.

It could be recalled that in 2018, through the good policies of the NPP government led by H .E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, deemed it wise to build National Youth Centre across the 10 Regions in the country which encompasses mini Sports Stadia, Guest House, Entertainment Stands among others to enhance youth development throughout the country.
