Kadjebi holds general assembly meeting

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Kadjebi in the Oti Region, Mr. Agbanyo Wilson, has called on citizenry to work assiduously towards building a prosperous district for the benefit of all.

The DCE made the call during the Assembly’s third ordinary meeting at Kadjebi, the district capital.

Addressing members at the meeting, the DCE emphasized that the “onus lies on us all to put our chest to the wheel by working to harness the available resources for accelerated development.”

This, he said, can only be achieved through consensus building and mutual understanding of the developmental challenges that have engulfed the district for many years.

Touching on education, Mr. Agbanyo stressed on the need for concerted effort to organize fora to bring all stakeholders in education on board to help address the dwindling standard of education in the district.

He also touched on agriculture, health and other important sectors of the economy.

He seized the opportunity to thank Assembly Members, Management and staff for their support and contribution towards the development of the district.
