PRESTEA: MP worried about abandoned GETFund projects

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has expressed concerns about abandoned GETFund projects across the length and breadth of the constituency.

According to her, these projects have been abandoned due to lack of funding.. She said, the issue is imposing lots of challenges to most of the Assembly Members whose electoral areas these projects are located.

The Member of Parliament (MP) assured that, her office will do its possible best to ensure that funds are being released from GETFund and the necessary support for the completion of these abandoned projects.

She also added that, when projects are unable to be completed, it will not impact any benefit on the lives of the people in that particular area.

To support Central and Local Governments in the provision of infrastructure, the MP said she had allocated part of her Common fund for the construction of KG blocks.
