Former Upper West Akim Assembly auditor cited for stealing
The former internal auditor of the Upper West Akim District Assembly, Christian Ofori has been indicted in the 2015 report of the Auditor General for allegedly stealing an official laptop of the Assembly.

According to the report the former internal auditor took the laptop away upon his transfer to Denkyembour District, the matter has since been reported to the police.
Appearing before the committee Mr. Christian Ofori told the committee the laptop had developed fault and was sent to Accra for repairs in 2016.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the PAC Dr. James Klutse Avedzi has &ordered that the former internal auditor keeps the faulty laptop and buy a new laptop for the Upper West Akim District Assembly within a month.
The District Chief Executive of Denkyembour was tasked to ensure that the former internal auditor buys the laptop within a month to be forwarded to Upper West Akim District Assembly.
