MASLOC beneficiaries receive Loans
The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, has disbursed loans to the second batch of one hundred beneficiaries.

The first batch of loans disbursed by MASLOC was on 29th January 2019.

The disbursement, which took place last week at the MASLOC office in Mallam, was witnessed by a cross section of the general public.

Speaking at the event, Tina Naa Ayele Mensah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Weija-Gbawe Constituency and Deputy Minister for Health advised beneficiaries to put the monies to good use to enable them repay in good time.


She pledged the government’s commitment to ensure that Ghanaians are given the necessary seed capitals to set up or expand their businesses.

On his part, Deputy General Secretary of NPP, Hon Nii Laryea Squire asked all present to continue to support the efforts of the government at all times, adding that the NPP remains poised to improve the livelihood of the ordinary Ghanaian citizenry.


Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com expressed their happiness at the timing of the loans and pledged to work hard to repay in good time for others to benefit.

Meanwhile, also present at the event was Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.
