The programme which is dubbed “Sustainable Clean City Project’ will ensure that streets across the country are kept clean to help improved public health and further improved quality of life.

 Dr Arthur noted this when addressing the key staff of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) and MMDAs in the Volta Region as part of his familiarisation tour to the region.

 According to him, the decision by the Local Government Service (LGS) to embark on this laudable initiative is to ensure sustainable clean cities and communities in the MMDAs.

Dr. Ato Arthur thanked the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa and the entire VRCC members for the kind gesture shown him and also called on him to maintain the cordial relationship to foster growth in the region.
