The facility, which was funded with the Assembly's share of the Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) and initiated by the previous NDC administration, was aimed at replacing the school’s old dilapidated structure to help improve teaching and learning.

Speaking at the event, Mr Odoom stated that four of such projects have already been completed, commissioned and handed over for use ever since he assumed office as DCE of the area.

He also revealed that the assembly was currently putting up another three-unit classroom block which is at the lintel state.

He pledged the assembly’s continuous support for quality education in the area, adding that, the assembly was also ready to support students by offering them the needed assistance and opportunity to access quality education to preferred levels.

Meanwhile, plans are far advanced to construct modern Kindergarten (KG) classroom blocks in various communities across the district as part of efforts to help improve teaching and learning in the area.
