DCE vows to protect funds meant for PWDs
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Talensi, Dr. Christopher Boatbil has vowed to protect funds belonging to persons with disability in the district.

He made the pronouncement during the disbursement of sixty three thousand, four hundred and seventy five (GHs 63,475.00) Cedis to some 57 persons with and across the Talensi district.

The DCE stressed the need that there will be no room for abled person to take advantage of those with disabilities, a move which will go against the funds objective of improving their livelihood.

He also said the assembly will make sure that the monies that are being distributed will be utilized.

He indicated that the care of the president with people of disability is his major priority that’s the reason why the monies has been increased from2 to 3 percent in 2017.

The district President for disability, Na- Oni Solomon Bazeimbil expressed his excitement with some of the new development seen in PWDs common fund in recent times.

He used the occasion to advise his colleagues to use the monies wisely so that it brings the needed change for a better living.

Dr. Boatbil again warned the beneficiaries who misuse the assistance will not have the opportunity of benefiting from it till infinity.
