Abetifihene donates furniture to schools
Akyemfuo Asiedu Agyemang III, the chief of Abetifi and the Adontenhene of Kwahu Traditional Area has donated 200 dual and mono desks worth GHC30,000.00 to schools in Abetifi in the Kwahu East District to support effective teaching and learning.

The school which benefitted include; Abetifi Presbyterian Primary and JHS, Abetifi Anglican Primary and JHS, Abetifi D/A School and Abetifi Roman Catholic JHS.

Speaking at the programme, Nana Akyemfuo Agyemang said the gesture was to support schools that have insufficient furniture for quality education delivery and encouraged parents in the community to appreciate the need to educate their children and consider it as the right of their children.

The Adontenhene of Kwahu Traditional Area, promised to support educational development in the area.

Mr. Moses Boahene, the Abetifi- Pepease Circuit Supervisor who receive the furniture on behalf of the schools, highly praised Nana for the gift, telling that any support to education was a laudable course that should always be supported.

Akyemfuo Asiedu Agyemang III has been named after the Abetifi Anglican Model School for his continuous support to the progress of the school.
