Three communities to benefit from two classroom blocks and Maternity ward

Sod cutting ceremony to construct two classroom blocks and a Maternity ward at three different communities in the Kintampo South District commences.

The communities to benefits include Krutakyi, Agyegyenakunu each will have construction of No. 3 unit classroom block with office, staff common room and two seater KVIP toilet, whiles Apesika will have a Maternity block with lying- in ward labour ward, ANC unit, gynecology office, consulting room, wound dressing room and nurse’s room when completed.

All the three contractors present were given a duration of 6 months per the contract to complete and hand over the three projects for use.

The Chiefs of the three communities expressed their appreciation to District Chief Executive, the Member of Parliament and the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government for the projects. They however, warned the contractors they will not tolerate shoddy work.

Present at the ceremony were Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Alexander Gyan, the District Chief Executive, Opoku Nyame, Coordinating Director Mr. Samuel Dwanema, District Education Director, Daniel Appiah among others.
