DCE presents 42 motorbikes to assembly members

The District Chief Executive of Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi on March 18, 2019 presented forty-two (42) motorbikes and helmets to all Assembly Members in the district.

According to the District Chief Executive, this forms part of Government’s promise to ease the transportation burden of Assembly members in the area.

He said, looking at the road network in the district, it sometimes becomes problematic for the Honorable members to discharge their duties well; hence the need for government to provide them with an easy means of transport.

He entreated the Assembly members to use the motorbikes properly in their line of work to benefit their Electoral Areas. He said there is the need for the electoral area within which they serve to benefit from them and the motorbikes they have received.

Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the Assembly MemberS, Presiding Member of the Assembly, Mr Ebenezer Obeng Dwamenah, applauded the District Chief Executive and the President of Ghana for fulfilling their promise to them.

He then assured the DCE that, he and his Assembly Members will utilize the motorbikes to the benefit of the people and the Assembly.
