GH¢200,000 CHPS compound commissioned for Krofrom Community
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi, has commissioned a Community-Based Health Planning and Service (CHPS) compound at Krofrom.

The CHPS compound, estimated at GH¢200,000, comprises a labour ward, reproductive child health unit, out-patients department, dispensary, store room and nurses quarters.
Commissioning the CHPS facility, the DCE affirmed the commitment of the government to bringing healthcare to the doorsteps of the people, with the implementation of affordable interventions like the National Health Insurance Scheme, free maternity care, immunisation programmes, training and quality health staff, provision of health infrastructure and equipment.
The Odikro of Adumasa, Nana Oppong Agyare Kyekyeku I commended the Assembly for providing the community with the health facility, and gave the assurance that it would be well maintained to serve the purpose for which it was provided.
