The DCE, who was speaking at a short commissioning ceremony of a new Court complex for the district stated that: “I believe this project would not have come to fruition without the support of Nanamon”.

The court facility, which is the first of its kind in the area, is expected to help adjudicate legal disputes between parties and carry out the administration of justice in civil, criminal, and administrative matters in accordance with the rule of law.

In his Keynote Address, the DCE commended the Chiefs and Elders of Senkyi, a community in the district for willingly releasing a large parcel of land which paved way for the construction of the modern court.

He was optimistic that the facility will serve as a morale booster for the District Magistrate and staff to sit for longer hours to adjudicate cases brought before the court.

He disclosed that,  the Assembly was also working to install fire extinguishers in the building in order to curtail any possible fire outbreak.

Mr Agyekum concluded by reiterating the government’s commitment to improve justice system of the country.
