B/A MDCEs grateful to president for the new role of their former Regional Minister
Municipal and District Chief Executives in the Brong Ahafo Region have expressed their gratitude to the President Nana Akufo-Addo for the appointment of the outgoing Regional Minister, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh as the new Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

The chief executives who expressed this sentiment in a press release said they deem his new role as an honour to the region and “wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to his His Excellency for appointing an illustrious son of B/A to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources”.

According to the statement, the subsequent elevation of the for Deputy Regional Minister, Evans Opoku Bobie as a substantive Regional Minister shows the strong the belief the president have in the people in the region.

B/A MDCEs THANK THE PRESIDENT FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. KWAKU ASOMAH CHEREMEH AS MINISTER FOR LANDS AND NATURAL RESOURCES

The entire Municipal and District Chief Executives of the Brong Ahafo Region wish to express our profound gratitude to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the appointment of the outgoing Regional Minister, Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, as the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

We deem this appointment by the President a great honour to the Region and wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency for appointing an illustrious son of B/A to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

As a Regional Minister, Lawyer Asomah-Cheremeh contributed in diverse ways to the socio-economic development of the Brong Ahafo Region, and we are confident that his acquired skills and experience will help bring desired results needed at the sector.

We believe that, Mr. Asomah-Cheremeh’s efficient delivery as the Regional Minister contributed to the confidence His Excellency the President had in him prior to his appointment to lead such a vital ministry

We also wish to thank the President for the confidence reposed in the former Deputy Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Asunafo North constituency, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie as a substantive Regional Minister.

We do not deem this as just an honour but we are assured by this nomination, that indeed, His Excellency has a strong belief in the people of the Region. We, again, wish to commend the President for the decision to commence his Nationwide tour from the Brong Ahafo Region and his decision to transform the road network of the Region by awarding the Berekum town roads, Sunyani City roads, Offuman-Amoma roads, among others

Once again, we are grateful to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for such an honour.
