Kwamaman Rural Bank donates furniture to Kwaman Presec

The Kwamaman Rural Bank Limited had donated 40 dining hall tables and 80 benches to the Kwamanman Presbyterian Senior High Technical School to beef up their dining hall logistics.

Speaking to the board chairman of the bank, Mr Newman Dapah disclosed that the headmistress of the school called on them sometime back and informed them on the bedeviling challenge at their dining hall so as part of their social corporate responsibility they decided to meet their demand.

According to him, it has always been their priority to support schools with challenges in their catchment area to help improve standard of education in the district.

The headmistress of the school Mrs. Margret Twum received the furniture on behalf of the school in good fate.

She took the opportunity to inform the press that, the major hurdle of the school has been deplorable nature of the access road to the school premises.

According to her, there was a contractor who was working on the road to give it a befitting status but had abandoned the road since last year.

She therefore appealed to the government to intervene so that the contractor could come back to site.

The District Education Director for the Sekyere Central Mr Anthony Amoako also called on the school authorities and the student body to adopt the culture of maintenance on the items given to give it a lasting span.
