MCE embarks on “my first day at school” visitation

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akim South Mr. Alexander Frimpong together with the Municipal Education Director has embarked on “my first day at school” visitation in the Municipality.

The MCE reached out to the kindergarten at the various schools in Asante Akim South.

Some of the schools visited were Juaso Methodist and SDA Primary schools, Obogu Presby, Odubi Presby, Faith primaries, Komeso primary school, Asankare Methodist and Presby primary, Bompata zion primary. Other schools the team visited were Atwedie M/A and Presby primary, wankyi M/A and Presby Prim, and Nkwanta Presby Primary.

Mr. Frimpong welcomed the children to school and encouraged them to take their studies seriously in order to realize their future aspirations.

He took the opportunity to advise the kids to be respectful and obedient to their parents and their teachers.

The school pupils also received educational items such as books, pencils, Crayon and others to motivate the kids to be punctual in school.
