Atwima Mponua MP, DCE lead cleanup exercise in Srebourso
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Mponua, Isaac Kwame Asiamah together with the District Chief Executive of the area, Mr Kofi Marfo has led a massive cleanup exercise to desilt gutters in Srebourso, a community in the Kwanfinfi Electoral Area.

The exercise was organized to free the drainage system and remove all choked particles from the gutters that always lead to flooding after heavy rains.

Addressing the media, Mr Kwame Asiamah assured the people of the government’s to implement policies that will always address the numerous challenges of the people and help better their lives.


He therefore advised them not to be swayed by the current economic challenges, which he said were ripple effect of the recent coronavirus pandemic and the Russian-Ukraine war.

He assured that the economy will bounce back hence Ghanaians should exercise patience.

On his part, the District Chief Executive, Isaac Kofi Marfo expressed his profound gratitude to everyone who participated fully in the exercise.
He seized the opportunity to call on other communities to rekindle the spirit of communal labour in order to foster development.


According to him, communal labor shouldn’t be partisan, but rather a call for all to be involved in matters of development.

The MP and the DCE also used the opportunity to interact with teachers and students of the Srebourso basic school to know their challenges and possible ways to address these challenges.


Meanwhile, also present at the exercise were Environmental staff led by Mr Boateng, Kwanfinfi Assembly member, Salifuo, Chiefs of Srebourso, Electoral Area coordinator, Mr Augustine Oppong, Polling station executives among others.
