NANUMBA S: DCE visits rainstorm affected communities

Following last Sunday’s heavy storm that badly hit two (2) over-sea communities including Pudua and Likambol in the Nanumba South District in the Northern Region, the District Chief Executive for the area: Hon. Natogmah Ibrahim Mukaila visited the affected communities to ascertain the extent of damage.

The DCE who was there with the District NADMO Coordinator and the District works foreman also took the opportunity to sympathise with affected people and to find ways of assisting them.

According to Mr. Mukaila, his personal assessment of the situation will enable him fashion out a befitting collaboration with the powers that be to solicit support for the victims as soon as practicable.

A total of forty-two (42) houses were affected at Pudua with three (3) houses completely ripped off.

At Likambol, a total of thirty one (31) houses were affected with seven (7) of them completely ripped off.
