Mr. David Kwesi Asare with 23 votes in his favour representing 69.67, and 9 against and one rejected sailed through to become the new district chief executive for the area.

He promised to run an open door administration to enable divergent views to accelerate their quest to reduce poverty among their people as well as find solutions to other relevant problems in the various localities.
 
He appealed for the support of all stakeholders including chiefs, assembly members, staff of the assembly all those who matter in the development of the district.
