Akufo-Addo re-elected President
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been re-elected as the President of Ghana.

This was announced by the Chairperson of Electoral Commission of Ghana, Madam Jean Mensah.

President Akufo-Addo polled 6,730,413 votes, representing 51.59% while the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama managed 6,214,889 which represent 47.36% of the total ballots cast.

The figures according to the EC exclude results from the Techiman South constituency which is still in contention.

Total valid votes cast, according to the Electoral Commission, was 13,434,574 representing 79% of total registered voters.

President Akufo-Addo is expected to be sworn into in January 2021.
