ATEBUBU: District Census management team inaugurated
A four member management committee to oversee the coordination and implementation of the Ghana Census of Agriculture exercise in the Atebubu-Amantin municipality has been inaugurated in Atebubu.

The municipal chief executive Hon. Edward Owusu who inaugurated the committee described its work as crucial to the success of the exercise and pledged the support of the district assembly.

He spelt out the mandate of the committee which includes the provision of requisite facilities for the exercise, ensuring effective education and publicity for same as well as ensuring that activities are carried out on schedule.

The committee will also ensure the resolution of all problems arising from the exercise and facilitate information sharing and dissemination of results in the municipality.

The chairperson of the committee and municipal coordinating director Hajia Fati Saaka assured the MCE of hard work on the part of the committee to ensure a successful census.

Other members of the committee include the municipal director of the department of agriculture Mr. George Amanyo, the municipal planning officer Mr. Stephen Sakyiamah Boahen and Mr. Daniel Oduro-Stewart the municipal information officer.
