EJURA: MCE interacts with pupils

As part of efforts to officially welcome new entrants into formal educational system, the Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura Sekyedumae, Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba, in what is termed: “My first day at school” welcomed the new pupils in Ejura Model Primary School.

The MCE interacted with the pupils and also distributed sandals, exercise books and sets of pencils, erasers and sharper to over 100 pupils in the school.

They also distributed fruit juice and biscuits to refresh the pupils.

The Ejura Sekyedumase Education Director, Mr Patrick Ofori who accompanied the entourage thanked the headteacher and his staff and also advised the teachers to teach and protect the children well since they are the country's future.

This exercise is annually conducted at the beginning of the new academic year where prominent people particularly government officials visit schools to interact with pupils just so they can be motivated to focus on education in order to yield the best result from it.
