Kwahu East Asembly donates food items to Muslim community
The Kwahu East District Assembly has presented food items worth over 20,000 cedis to the Muslim Community in the Districts. The items included 100 bags of rice, 20 cartons of 1 liter oil, and 5 cartons of 5 liter oil as well as Buta.

Mr. Isaac Agyapong, The District Chief Executive presenting the Items, said it was to support the Muslim Community during month-Long fast Known as Ramadan.

Mr. Agyapong said the Assembly deemed it appropriate to donate the items and encouraged Muslims to pray for the Districts and Nation as Ramadan was a special period in the Islamic religion.

He added that it was also an assurance to Muslims that, the Assembly and residents were solidly behind them as they fast and pray for the nation.

“I wish all Muslim good Health and Prosperity”

The Leader of the Muslims Community in the District who received the items on behalf of the Muslims expressed his gratitude to the Assembly promised to continue praying for DCE and other Staff members as well as the Nation.

He prayed against all forms of negativity in the district and asked Allah for the progress and development of the district.

He said, the period will be used to sensitize the youth against all forms of violence especially mob actions and other social vices.
