KETU S: MCE commissions classroom block for Aflao E.P Tokor Basic

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu South, Edem Elliot Agbewornu has commissioned a 6-unit classroom block with an office and store for the Aflao E.P Tokor Basic School.

The MCE as part of the commissioning also handed over the school block to the management committee of the school.

The project was funded by GETFund in collaboration with Schools Under Trees and Emergency Intervention Programme (SUTEmIP).

In his speech, the MCE urged the management committee of the school and the church to maintain and take proper care of the classroom block.

He also directed the Municipal Education Director to work on posting more teachers to the school to help improve quality of education in the municipality.

On his part, the head pastor of the church expressed his profound gratitude to the MCE and assured him that they would take proper care of the facility.
