The new facility which would be built with support from the Japan Embassy under the Grant Assistant for Grassroot Human Security Project (GGHSP) would also help deal with a major worry of the people due to the sitting of the current health facility which under a high tension pole, and poses great danger to the staff and patients.

The Japan Embassy has accepted a proposal from the Assembly for the construction of a new heath facility and on Wednesday March 13, 2019 subsequently signed the necessary documents at the residence of the Japan Ambassador for the project to be executed.

The new CHPS compound which is expected to commence in April comes with a female ward, delivery room, antenatal, recovery, office, laboratory, 2 consulting rooms, and injection room.

It also has attached to it two bedroom nurses quarters with living rooms, kitchen, sanitary facilities, and porch to house two resident nurses.

It is hoped that the new enhanced facility would be in position to provide better health delivery services to the over 3,700 population of Bosso Villa and surrounding communities.
