Contractor hands over newly built CHPS compound to Birim Central Municipal Assembly

CharliePii Construction Limited has handed over a chips compound to the Birim Central Municipal Assembly on Friday, 26th May, 2023 at Akim Oda quarters.

According to the Municipal Chief Executive Mrs. Victoria Adu the purpose of the project is to bring health care to the doorstep of people around the catchment area to serve their health needs and to also prevent them from travelling long distances to access healthcare.

And disclosed that funds for the project was from the District performance Assessment tool (DPAT).

The District Health Director, Bismark Sarkodie, appealed to the people in the area to make life comfortable for the staff who would be serving them to Mann the facility.

The facility contains physician assistant bungalow, OPD, male and female ward among others.

Mr. Kwadwo Ampaabeng, the New Patriotic Party Constituency Chairman for Akim Oda who stood on for the Member of Parliament Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah urged the staff to practice maintenance culture to ensure the facility lasts long.
