The MCE delivering his speech at the fourth section of the third Mampong Municipal Assembly Meeting explained that beneficiary farmers can only access inputs lodged with accredited agents through electronic medium where Agric Extension Officers will use tablets and scanners to register farmers before they are recommended for the supply of inputs.

Mr. Appiah Kubi indicated that for the year 2019, when it comes to Planting for Export and Rural Development, the Assembly has selected three plantation crops which are cashew, oil palm and cocoa for mass production and distribution to farmers for free in the Municipality.

He added that the distribution of the seedlings is in strict conformity with template sanctioned by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) which requires every farmer to join an Association.
