Let's unite and campaign vigorously for victory 2020 - NDC advised
The failed Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Asene Manso Akroso in the Eastern Region, Richard Ronald Acquaah has called on the ranks and files of the opposition National Democratic Congress to unite and campaign vigorously to win the 2020 general elections and also unseat the current NPP member of parliament for the area.

"My doors are always opened and I am ready to accept and play any role which will be assigned to me by the party and our parliamentary candidate elect to lead our great party in the 2020 elections to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party".

Richard Ronald Acquaah who contested for the just ended parliamentary primaries with the motive of becoming the parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress in the upcoming 2020 general elections lost the bid to Eric Ahinakwa with a total of 243 votes as against 432.

"I am not worried for loosing because in every election there is a winner and a looser, loosing today doesn't mean I will lose tomorrow. The deligates has spoken and their views needs to be respected and such is the beauty of democracy, I will congratulate my parliamentary candidate elect for a good fight and I believe he will be crowned in the 2020 general elections" he added during an interview with Ghanadistricts.com after the primaries.

Mr. Richard Ronald Acquaah added that "I am a strong political figure as far as Asene Manso Akroso Constituency is concerned and will do everything possible for my party to win both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in my Constituency”.

He stressed that he will not relent in the 2020 elections, “I am ready to go all out to contribute my little quota towards the victory of our party, I will now wait for the captain to assign me on what and where he will need me to contribute my quota".

He seized the opportunity to call on his supporters and sympathizers to rally behind the winner Eric Ahinakwa to capture the MP seat, let's burry our differences and embark intensive campaign for John Mahama and Eric Ahinakwa to ensure victory in 2020 elections.

According to him, his team won the primaries just that they failed to cross the pass mark, but in all the NDC in general has won since there was no record of violence during the period.
