Shama District Police complex commissioned
An ultramodern police edifice has been commissioned at Shama for effective and efficient administrative works and operations in the district.

Delivering his speech at the function, the Western Regional Minister, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah lauded Nana Kwamena Dekyi I for funding the facility and assured all that the government will continue to invest in national security for the benefit of its citizenry.
He says this is to provide offices for the command heads, officers and investigators in the Shama District and also enable crime prevention and to aid in their day-to-day policing i.e., protection of lives and properties.
‘’The safety of Ghanaians is a priority to government and hence, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that citizens go about their daily activities in a conducive setting.’' He stated.
