The recent discourse over the GHC420, 000.00 that each aspirant would have to cough out for picking form and subsequent filing has even brought to fore the love for the former president and his return.

The uproar that greeted sections of the campaign teams of the various possible aspirants over the announcement of the GHC420.000.00 even before the downward adjustment to GHC320.000.00 following intervention by the Council of Elders of the party did not actually affect the JM Campaign Team as the support from loyal followers to contribute to his course to return to the Flagstaff House was overwhelming.

The East Ayawaso NDC Women’s wing would not want to be left out of the quest to support the campaign of the Mr. John Mahama hence the group has donated an undisclosed amount of money to the JM Campaign fund to help support activities that would lead to the former president emerging the flagbearer of the party for the 2020 General Elections.

The donation which was done at the former President’s campaign office was done amidst singing and dancing with most of them carrying placards, some of which read; was ‘JM accept my token, ‘JM this is my GHC1’, ‘JM we want you back’.

Leadership of the group speaking just before the donation expressed hope and confidence the former president would emerge victorious to bring the party back to power in 2021.

They were grateful for the show of love for the course of the former president and called for more financial donations from all and sundry from as low as GHC1 and above.
