Wa East drivers cry for help over bad roads
The Wa East District has been separate from the nearby districts in the Upper West region due to the deplorable nature of their road.

A typical route from Busa-Manwe-Goripei to Bulenga remains a nightmare to drivers who ply this road say the potholes and eroded surfaces poses threats to them and other road users.
Some of these drivers have blamed the government for doing little to get the roads fixed.
According to them, several attempts to get authorities to fix the deplorable roads have proved futile.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa East, Hon. Godfred Bayong Tangu, has been doing his best in an attempt to get these roads tarred to enhance transportation in the area.
