ASUOGYAMAN: DCE presents rain coats to abodoo and bread sellers

Samuel Kwame Agyekum, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asuogyaman has given out raincoats to abodoo and bread sellers in the district.

According to him, he received vital information that, the sellers struggle to sell their goods anytime the rain sets in, and that the situation makes life difficult for them as they are unable to make ends meet to take care of themselves and their families.

The distribution of the rain coats therefore was necessary to facilitate their trade even when it is raining.

Samuel Kwame Agyekum further remarked that the government and for that matter the assembly is committed to finding solutions to the problems of the people of Asuogyaman District in particular and that of Ghana in general and the distribution of raincoats to the sellers was one of the ways of fulfilling this commitment.

He shed light that very soon through Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), loans will be made available to the sellers to help them expand their selling activities.

The sellers were very appreciative of the support the DCE and the government has given them and assured the DCE they will pray for him so that he will succeed in his endeavours and do more for the people of Asuogyaman.
