Sekyere Afram Plains to set up Agric Mechanization centre - DCE
The District Chief Executive of Sekyere Afram Plains, Joseph Owusu Odenkyem has stated that, their district assembly has what it takes to set up agric mechanization center to enable the farmers in the area get access to a modernized farm equipment for commercial farming.

He opined that their district is endowed with sizeable land that could support commercial farming activities but their headache was the difficulties in getting access to farm machinery. However, through the intervention of the government, that hurdles on farmers is no more.
He made the statement when he interacted with Omono Asamoah at the launch of farm machinery like tractors, disc ploughs, disc harrows, top link, weeding wheels, irrigation pipes among others at Drobonso.
The Sekyere Afram Plains District Director of MoFA, Daniel Kwabena Agyei also stated that they would adopt pragmatic measures that would help sustain the culture of maintenance.
