Techiman North DCE cautions staff against social vices

At the first staff durbar for the year 2019, District Chief Executive for Techiman North, Peter Mensah called on members of the District Assembly to desist from engaging in practices capable of tarnishing the image of the assembly.

He cautioned members of the various departments to be wary of engaging in corrupt activities adding that corruption threatens sustainable economic development.

The well- attended meeting held at the new assembly conference- hall brought together hundreds of workers from the various departments in and outside the Techiman North District Assembly

At the meeting, staff where given opportunity to bring out concerns or challenges hindering performance at their respective levels that needs attention.

The DCE applauded staff for their unity in fighting for a common goal at all level and urge staff to continue with the spirit of togetherness for the development of the district.

Mr. Peter Mensah also stated that “as chief servant and a team leader, he is ready to engage all staff at all level and would therefore need their unflinching support in serving the people of the District”.

He acknowledged the efforts of the hardworking members of the Assembly adding that their welfare is an area of priority to him and the government.
